Lane County Disposal Site: Short Mountain 

Short Mountain Landfill, Lane County's only municipal solid waste landfill, is located eight miles south of Eugene on Interstate 5.  The landfill is open to approved commercial waste haulers only; no public accommodations exist at Short Mountain.

 Early access for prequalified commercial haulers with specific approval.

 Please note: Short Mountain Landfill observes the following national holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas eve (close early), and Christmas Day.

PLEASE NOTE: It is against state law to dispose of TVs, Computers and monitors in the garbage.  This material can be recycled for FREE at five Lane County's transfer sites:
