Fiscal 
The fiscal staff provide financial services to the 24-hour / 7 days a week Sheriff's Office. The manager, a management analyst, two senior accounting clerks and a senior stores clerk are housed in the main office of the Sheriff's Office in the Lane County Courthouse. One senior accounting clerk works in the Corrections facility.

The fiscal section is responsible for all budget duties for the Sheriff's Office. The manager is responsible for all functions of the fiscal section. He constantly monitors the fiscal status of the Sheriff's Office and all the divisions. The management analyst accounts for all grant or other types of funding, including requesting reimbursement. She also processes all contracts for the Sheriff's Office, including contracts for services by the cities of Eugene, Springfield, Creswell and Veneta. She is responsible for closing the fiscal budget year.

Accounts receivable and payable are processed by the accounting staff in the courthouse which includes auditing and verifying charges and resolving discrepancies. The two senior accounting clerks process payroll for the 373 employees of the Sheriff's Office, including all paperwork for promotions, changes of assignment, and reimbursement for expenses for training. They also work with the Fleet Section of Public Works in tracking vehicles and expenses for the Sheriff's Office fleet. The accounting clerks prepare bank deposits and reconcile bank statements. The senior accounting clerk in the Corrections facility processes all accounting entries for inmate accounts, including collecting fees and commissary charges.

The senior stores clerk orders and tracks all uniform articles for all uniformed staff, as well as purchasing and maintaining inventory of all office supplies for the main office. He contacts vendors for prices and quotes. He is responsible for internal phone changes and issuing and monitoring the costs of Sheriff's Office cell phones.
