DO YOU NEED A SUMMER JOB? LANE COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS HOSTS A SUMMER JOB INFO SESSION & OPEN HOUSE
Lane County Public Works will host a Public Information Session and Open House for anyone interested in summer employment with the Department. Jobs include Road Maintenance Laborers and Flaggers, as well as Engineering Technicians.

Staff from Public Works will be available during the session to discuss the type of work available, number of positions, and skills needed for the jobs. Human Resources staff will present information regarding the application and selection process, and other personnel related details. Representatives from the Workforce Network will also be on hand. The Workforce Network assists employers in recruiting and retention, and helps individuals to learn new skills, find employment, and progress in their careers.
This Information Session & Open House is open to the public. Anyone interested in a summer job with Lane County is encouraged to attend.
Applicants must be 18 years or older and hold a valid Oregon Drivers license. Drug testing is required for some positions. A Certified Court Print DMV Record must be attached to all applications or faxed to 682-8500.
Salaries start at $9.68 per hour.
Beginning Monday, March 7, job applications will be available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Lane County Public Works, 3040 North Delta Highway, Eugene, and also from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lane County Human Resources, Lane County Public Service Building, 125 East 8th Avenue, Eugene.
